What's in your Outstanding Tiny Desk AI video
About 18 seconds — the viral clip from the band shot on: the band, the big laugh close-up, the sax solo, the band again.
The song, synced — the original "Outstanding" audio, plus a silent copy in case TikTok or Instagram mutes it.
Ready for your feed — a 9:16 vertical MP4 with no watermark.
What is the Outstanding Tiny Desk meme?
In 2023 Charlie Wilson closed his NPR Tiny Desk concert with The Gap Band's "Outstanding." On October 18, 2026, TikTok creator @theburnerfromhe11 posted "College Football's Week 8 All-Loss Tiny Desk Concert": AI swapped that weekend's losing coaches into the last 19 seconds of that performance. It passed 2.3 million views. A Dallas Cowboys legends version followed and passed 800,000.
TikTok calls it the "outstanding tiny desk set." Every Saturday brings a new set of losing coaches, so every week brings a new version.
View counts as of October 25, 2026.

FAQ
Can I put my team's coach or players in it?
Yes. That's the trend. Use it for parody and fan edits. Don't present it as real, don't use it to harass anyone, and don't use it in ads or endorsements.
Is the viral coach video real?
No. The All-Loss Tiny Desk video is an AI parody. No coach performed at NPR's Tiny Desk.
How much does it cost?
$9.99 for one video. Packs of 3 for $19.99 and 5 for $29.99. Band friends (keys and the two backup singers) add 5 credits together, one friend or all three ($12.99 for one video with them); a friend on sax costs nothing extra. One-time payment, and credits never expire.
Is Tiny Desk AI free?
No. There are no free renders. You pay once per pack, and a failed video gives its credits back.
Does the video have the "Outstanding" song?
Yes, the original audio, synced to the clip. You also get a silent copy: if a platform mutes the song, post the silent copy and add "Outstanding" from the app's music library.
How long is the video?
About 18 seconds: the viral video from the band shot on, with its cuts from there.
How many people can be in it?
Five: your lead singer and, if you like, friends on keys, on sax and as the two backup singers. Keys and the backup singers are 5 more credits together, sax is free. Any seat you leave empty is played by an AI musician.
What photo works best?
One person, facing the camera, sharp, good light, nothing covering the face.
What if it fails or looks wrong?
If a video fails, its credits come back automatically. If a finished video is clearly broken, email support@tinydeskai.video and we'll make it right.
Do I need CapCut or an app?
No. Upload photos here and download the finished MP4. No editing, no templates, no app.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to make your video, sent to our AI video provider (and, for a friend on keys, our face-swap provider) for that, and deleted from our storage within 2 days.
Can I post it on TikTok or Instagram?
Yes, for personal, non-commercial fun. The song belongs to its rights holders and we don't license it, so a platform may mute it.
Is this affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk or Charlie Wilson?
No. TinyDeskAI is an independent fan tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band.
